The popular Baader Sky-Surfer III red dot finder is back in stock.
This zero-power, variable brightness LED red-dot finderscope, has a larger clear aperture of 30mm compared to 20mm from competing similar-styled models, making it easier to view objects through and therefore easier to use. The (1:1 – non magnifying) objective lens has a non-reflective coating which results in the red dot being more easily visible against a darker background sky. The finder also features a longer length objective-end dew shield to prevent formation of dew and, in conjunction with the rear housing, the finder also allows rough solar alignment to be performed. SkySurfer III also includes a wide selection of mounting adaptors for it to be directly attached onto different telescopes and spotting scopes.
Also the SkySurfer III can be used with the Baader Stronghold Bino mount, along with the finderscope’s bino adaptor bracket, for it to become a useful binocular-finderscope. See our recent blog for more details.
