We have had a lot of enquiries from people asking if there is a Solar filter to fit a particular make/model of telescope that someone has or may be getting.
The answer is yes – there is a range for telescopes, small telescopes/spotting scopes and camera lenses and also for binoculars too, made by Baader Planetarium which use their AstroSolar film.
Here we have the Baader AstroSolar Telescope Filter (ASTF) 160mmmm model which fits our Celestron Evolution 6″ SCT telescope. Soon we’ll post more about getting the filter ready to use and also what the view and images are like through it.
