Description
This Baader UFC S70 Dovetail-Adapter is a camera-sided adaptor that allows you to to stack several UFC bases in order to be able to use more than one filter in the light path (such as when using IDAS or other filters). The adaptor attaches to the camera side of the UFC-base that is nearest to the telescope and secured using the six tapered hex-screws. The additional UFC (without a telescope-side adaptor attached) is then attached and secured (“piggybacked”) to this adaptor using the (additional) UFC’s “female” S70 opening on the UFC Base.
An example of two UFC’s attached together using the adaptor is shown below (with optional accessories not included).
