Baader AstroSolar
Learn more about the unique quality of Baader’s AstroSolar ™ Safety Film for Solar Observation. The film is suitable for the production of high-quality lens filters to observe the sun with telescopes, binoculars, photo or video cameras. Baader Filters and Filter Cells
Baader filters are designed and made to very high specifications. They are cut to size, polished plane to a quarter wavelength on both sides and then these polished blanks are submitted for coating. Their filter cells allow the final coated glass filters to be held stress-free to avoid image degradation.
Baader High Speed Filters
Baader Planetarium’s new f/2-filters are entirely designed and exclusively manufactured to work for a focal ratio range of f/3.5 down to f/1.8. Baader worked very hard and succeeded with a more elaborate and critical filter design with very steep slopes on both sides of the spectral window resulting in a filter with high contrast and smaller-sized stars.
Baader M68 System
The Baader/Zeiss M68 system is a robust and sturdy connection system between a telescope and accessories such as cameras or spectrographs where zero flexure is essential. Various telescope side (as well as camera/eyepiece) adaptors are available making it a very versatile system.
Baader Astro T-2 System
For over 30 years Baader Planetarium have focused on the Astro T-2 thread system (M 42 x 0.75 mm) as a method of attaching not only cameras, but a wide range of optical accessories such as binoviewers, eyepiece holder, extension tubes and diagonals to telescopes.
